Machining Technician (m/f/d)

As a machining technician, you set up CNC programs, process complex workpieces, and ensure quality and deadlines — with technical expertise and a passion for hydropower.

Your Tasks - What to expect

  • Set up, create, and optimize CNC programs

  • Machine 3D freeform surfaces on turbine components weighing up to 10 tons using modern 5-axis turning-milling centers

  • Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, including multi-machine operation

  • Maintain, service, and perform quality control on machines and components

  • Ensure timely and quality-compliant production while adhering to EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) regulations

Your Profile - What you bring

  • Completed training as a structural steel technician, metalworker, welding technician, or a comparable metal profession

  • Several years of professional experience with steel components

  • Technical understanding and affinity for hydropower

  • Basic computer skills are an advantage

  • Crane and forklift licenses required

  • Strong awareness of quality

  • Good German language skills (minimum B1 level)

The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 2.948,85. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we are willing to offer overpayment.
