Your Tasks - What to expect

• Guiding the financial accounting team with both technical expertise and leadership skills

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UGB

• Ongoing accounting tasks (account reconciliations, accruals, and P&L analyses)

• Preparation and filing of tax returns (UVA, preparation of documents for our foreign branches, etc.)

• Overseeing payment runs and ensuring smooth and accurate payment processes

• Point of contact for banks, authorities, tax advisors, and auditors

• Optimization of accounting processes (digitization, ERP)

Your Profile - What you bring

• Completed commercial education (e.g. HAK, degree in business administration or similar)

• Successfully completed certified accountant qualification

• At least 4 years of experience in financial reporting (ideally in an international industrial environment)

• Solid knowledge in accounting and financial reporting in accordance with UGB and EStG

• Inspiring leader with the ability to lead a team both functionally and with disciplinary responsibility

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)

• Strong understanding of accounting processes and ERP systems

• Excellent German and good English skills

Our salary is based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry. We offer a competitive all-in gross monthly salary starting from € 4,300. Depending on qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
